Grade 7-9 students have continued to be active during and after their PE classes. As a fun way to share what they are doing, some classes are putting together a Google Slide presentation full of pictures that show them being active. Grade 5-6 students started online learning this week and were given a link with many ideas to stay active over the next two weeks. They can also be active in an other way they can think of! They keep track of all their activities in their Activity Tracker. The link below has ideas and an Activity Tracker. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-0PwC6-M3CHMrK6AhoghRLv_Q5sGZv52ANRcjSDK7a8/edit
As grade 7-9 students are moving to online learning, they will be provided with many different ways to keep active during these two weeks. They will keep track of what they do each day in their Activity Trackers. Equipment will not be necessary, but can always be incorporated! We will see you all online, -Phys. Ed. Department
All students started new units this week and will continue with those units until the end of next week. - The possible modules were: basketball, organized games outside, broomball, ringette, and Gagaball/9 Square. - Human Sexuality is an upcoming unit and students will be receiving parent letters the week before starting. An important reminder to students and parents: We are trying to be outside as much as possible to comply with Covid-19 protocols. Students should be coming to school with winter coats, gloves and proper footwear to be out in the snow each class.
